Zero Impact Energy

Progress necessarily passes through the ecological transition: this is the belief that underlies APS Arosio's Extrusion growth policy. We want our production strategy to be increasingly compatible with a progressive reduction in polluting emissions, and this is why we have invested in the important project of a photovoltaic system for the Porzano di Leno plant.

 

The system has a power of 1200 Kwp and is made up of photovoltaic panels (over 2800 modules) installed on the entire surface of the factory roof. The panels are fixed using extruded aluminum anchors of our production and connected to latest generation inverters complete with a remote monitoring and web control system.

This innovation allows us to produce more than 30% of our electricity needs autonomously and with zero impact, reducing our emissions by as much as 795 tons of carbon dioxide. A decisive step forward towards greener production.

 

 

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM:

  • Nominal photovoltaic power: 1202 KWp
  • Rated power in AC: 990 KW
  • Annual production: approximately 1,500,000 KWh/year equal to over 30% of the requirement
  • Reduction of emissions: approximately 795 tons of CO2 NOT released into the environment
